Just a quick reminder for tug members to link their Delta frequent flyer accounts under the crossover program. You will be able to get spg points and Delta skimiles for your flights. Also you will receive Delta skimiles for spg stays in ADDITION to your regular points. You also receive Group 1 priority boarding and a free checked bag for yourself and traveling companions. For spg Platinums there are first class upgrades, priority behind other medallion members, but many SPG platinums have been awarded free upgrades on certainflights as per www.flyertalk.com.

I just went back through my emails, the husband and I both got an email about this and it offered 5,000 starpoints to each of us to join Delta skymiles and link up the accounts by April 30th. So I signed us both up. Thanks!

Do I understand correctly that this benefit only applies if you have gold or platinum status on spg or delta? I don't have it on either, so is there any benefit for me? Thanks.

Cool, didn't even realize that it was putting points in my Delta account for the hotel stays since late Feb...

Never got that offer, but I think I'd already created the Delta account when they first announced the Crossover program last year.

I suppose sometimes it's not worth rushing out to do things...
