Does SDO offer discounted stays ("bonus time") to owners?

Many resorts offer owners discounted "bonus time" to owners, particularly during off peak times. Is that offered at SDO? If so, how does the pricing work? I'm an owner looking to stay for a few days in the summer.

I don't think so - Remember that Starwood confiscates all weeks that aren't reserved by owners to rent and put the proceeds in their own pocket.

There was something in the governing docs regarding it, but I don't think I've ever read of anyone booking it.

Edit - here's one of the original posts I read about it: http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33528

What? You must be kidding. Where is the benefit to the owners or HOA with this arrangement?

You expect Starwood to make rules that benefit owners? ;)
