Grand Solmar resale - Platinum benefits?

Hi - has anyone purchased a unit from a Grand Solmar owner or know how I can confirm if certain benefits transfer during a resale / "Transfer of Ownership"? Specifically do the "platinum" benefits such as accelerated weeks, banking, split weeks, any day check-in transfer, etc.

I've talked to reservations at the resort and they are confident everything transfers...but someone with timeshare sales is saying they do not transfer (which I could imagine they may try and dissuade anything positive for a resale).

Would ResortCom be the one I should listen to (if they return my call ?

I own resale and I have been able to both accelerate and bank weeks. It's $89
I believe to accelerate or bank.

Great - thanks for the quick feedback! I'm aware of the $89 fee...which is consistent with the how the contract is spelled out.

You are welcome. The only benefit I know of that doesn't come with resale is a corporate interval international account - a friend of mine who bought developer has a corporate account and I don't, I just pay for mine. There may be other benefits that don't transfer with resale but I haven't bumped into them while using my ownership week.

Hey Slim - what did you find out on this? I have the same question regarding benefits with a transfer of ownership. The big one I am concerned about is the accelerated weeks. The solmar website says it only applies to members over 62 years old. So I'm wondering if benefits "reset" to newer policies, or if they retain the previous owner's.
