Does anyone know if they have ever put internet in the Sea Garden Nuevo. A few years ago, I know you could find wifi in some of the cafes around the Marina, but that's so inconvenient. I'm hoping the new Vidanta has finally caught up to the rest of the world and put free internet in all of their resorts!

Yes - Sea Garden Nuevo has free Vidanta internet / wifi

Hi Zib ,
We stayed at the Sea Garden Nuevo Feb 2016
Vidanta has added free internet to all their NUEVO VALLARTA resorts .

It seemed to have started for all Vidanta NUEVO resorts in the fall 2015 /winter 2016 season based on what I heard from owners who had been there the prior year .

It worked well in the rooms and the entire lobby of the SEA GARDEN
At the SG pool it was ok ( but not always as fast ) .

It was free . --- ( for exchanger's it is included in your resort fee charge )
If you wanted to stream movies etc there was an upgrade level that required a payment .(we did not use )

*****
PS -The Puerto Vallarta Marina Mayan Palace is still on the older contract with
a Guadalajara company were everyone ( owners and exchangers ) had to pay for wifi . The first device is about 900 pesos and a discount for each additional device added . There is no streaming level available .

I just called The front desk at MP PV Marina and confirmed this . I was hoping they had the
new service - as we go there in Feb 2017 . The desk person said " maybe next year " I believe that the contract probably has a ( future year ) end date .

Can anyone give a 2016 update on other Vidanta locations ?

.

Thanks for the info. We own at Grand Mayan and always stayed there but this year we decided to book Sea Garden because we can't do much walking. Our friend, who owns there too, told us she likes Sea Garden best because it's easier to get around so we thought we'd try it there this time. Glad about the internet/wifi there finally.

Vidanta Riviera Maya

I went for 2 weeks in February and can confirm the wifi works well at the Riviera Maya Vidanta in and around the units. At the Mayan Palace pool it can be pretty spotty, sometimes working and other times not. Grand Mayan pool area - works well. Could not say for the other pools...

The OP was asking about the wifi at the Nuevo Vallarta complex. But that is good to know, because I will be at the Rivera Maya complex next year.
