If we edit & make any changes to our ongoing search, do we keep or lose our place in line? I believe I read somewhere on here that changes won't make a difference...but want to make sure before I make a change and add a few other resorts to our search. Thanks in advance! :)

With II, there really is no place in line based on when you placed your request. Your place in line is based on the trade power of the week you deposited or are offering up. So if you had your request in 8 months ago and someone new comes along today with a higher trade power unit looking for the same search you are, their request will come through before yours.

The only time the time you placed your request matters is when trade power is equal. I would suspect that is pretty rare. It won't cause any issues if you edit your request, or even cancel and place a new one.
