Does anyone know the difference between a regular, plus, and premier unit at this resort? Is there any difference besides floor.

I believe that they are the identical floor plan, and the only difference is the floor. [Edited]: Regular is ground floor, Plus is ground floor or second floor, Premier is ground floor or second floor end unit, or top floor. I can't tell the difference between the Regular and Plus ground floors (this is from the HGVC website room descriptions in Revolution).

I recall that it was a little more complicated than first floor, second floor, third floor, but no longer have the sales materials from our phase 1 tour (2009).

I hope that helps!

Best,

Greg

Here is the thread you need, lots of photos and Steve posted the building layout showing where the standard, plus, and premium are situated, msg 31.

http://tugbbs.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173030

I do like this post (I've gone back a couple times and read it), but I don't have the comparable information on Phase 1 that is posted here for Phase 2.

Dave is right that the building layout gives us the Regular and Plus for Phase 2, now we just need the same source for Phase 1.

Best,

Greg

Maybe a little off topic... But the wife and I just came back from King's Land last week. We had a ground floor unit in building 3. This backed right up to the development's secondary pool which was very lightly used (but still awesome). Most nights and even about half of the time during the day, we had our own private pool. I would highly suggest trying to get in these buildings. It was great being able to walk out of the patio and pretty much into the pool without stairs or anything else. I'd prefer this setup than to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor. There really isn't a great view anyways. Just my opinion... however I'm not sure if these building are considered an upgrade over other buildings.

We also just got back last week and have been there a few times. Usually we stay at phase 1 but this time we did phase 2 for much lower points. Although we were across the street, the pool was actually closer than the past as we were in building 1 of phase 1.

We were very happy using phase 2 and felt phase 1 is not worth the extra points, unless you want to have the oven and higher quality furniture. Patio is also a little less.

Lastly, we were on the bottom floor and found it fine each time we went. Again, the extra points for a higher floor isn't worth it to us. If it was an ocean view, I would probably opt for a higher floor.

Enjoy it, as we miss it there already.

Glad to hear this, as we have a ground floor 3BR unit reserved for October. I've been nervous about the comments about cats overrunning the ground floor patios, as I'm very allergic to cats. But the difference in points just to move up one floor seemed pretty outrageous, so I decided to take my chances with the patio. Were there a lot of cats around? Did they get onto the patio furniture?

I believe that Regular is ground floor, Plus is ground floor end unit plus second floor units, Premier is Top floor.

Okay, my description was incorrect (and I've edited the original post).

Regular is first floor
Plus is first or second floor
Premier is first or second floor end unit, or top floor

I can't tell what's different about the Regular versus Plus, since both can be on the first floor. I got this from the HGVC website, and description of each room. But this thread makes me want to go back to Kings Land. :)

Best,

Greg

Shhhhhh! That's my favorite pool too! There are also two tables with BBQ gas grilles.

My brochure is pre-construction, but here is phase 1.

This is an interesting brochure, thank you for posting this. They don't even have 2BR Standard in 2007 for 10,500 points.

Very interesting. Thanks again.

Best,

Greg

Yes they obviously designated the first floor as standard and inserted another row of point values. They added more buildings too, my plans show 8, built 11. It wasn't on the price sheet either, I posted this link in the other thread.

We have two young daughters so for us we want the ground floor so we can let them play on the grass outside. It's also easier to get to the BBQ's and back and forth if you are on the ground floor. It works out well that the unit we prefer is the lowest level of points.

One caution on Phase 2 - the 2 bedrooms face the grass/golf course. The 1 bedrooms face the parking lot/street. You still have a patio that leads out to grass from a 1 bedroom but beyond the grass is the parking lot so the view isn't the best.

Phase 2 is great (although I've never stayed in Phase 1). From the looks of it anywhere in Phase 2 is closer to the super pool, clubhouse, restaurant, than perhaps half of the buildings in Phase 1 are.
