Hey all! I currently own Wyndham but have recently looked into Westgate and am curious about the opinions from you all on here to see what you think of the value of the programs they offer and any other helpful advice you may have. Thank you in advance!

Stay away. Far, far away. Nice resorts, predatory sales practices, they strip all owner perks if you try to sell, making it unsaleable. They are ruthless about raising fees. Just stay away.

Is this a trick question?

I currently own Wyndham but have recently looked into Westgate and am curious about the opinions from you all on here to see what you think of the value of the programs they offer and any other helpful advice you may have.

All I will say is that I would personally avoid Westgate in the very same way that I would avoid deliberate contact with a communicable and potentially fatal disease.

I am however curious about why you might think that Wastegate has any advantages of any kind over the Wyndham system in which you currently own?:shrug::confused:

We no longer own within Wyndham, but the Wyndham system does have a fair amount of flexibility (...a word which does not even exist in Wastegate's vocabulary, btw).
Our primary dissatisfaction with Wyndham was simply that Wyndham has no timeshare properties at all in numerous places we regularly visit and / or might plan to visit.
