Hi

The cost is $4500...what makes this appealing is the low MF -even though it's due annually, it's only $428.72/yr. The ad is for HGVC Las Vegas strip.
what would this get me? is there a chart I can see?

thanks,
Carol

Carol,

There's an eBay sale right now going on right now for 3,400 points EOY, with $590 in MFs and its not yet got any bids (even $1.)

I don't know what a 3,400 stand-alone package would offer to you -- I just bought a 4,800 EY package which is already on the low end of points to use.

So, I'd pass on the 3,400 package at $4,500, and keep considering alternatives.

Good luck with your analysis!!

Greg

I agree, it is not a good deal at all.

IMHO, at the very most the TS is worth is $1500

Also, IMHO one of the worst mistake a TS buyer can make is to buy such a small TS package that they find that they never have enough points to take a vacation that they want. The minimum number of points I'd buy in HGVC is 7000 EOY or 5000 EY.

The price is too high, but you can get 2 weeks+ in Hawaii in a studio off season with that number of points.

Keep in mind that MFs at the Strip property are currently lower because Hilton is subsidizing them to sell units. When developer sales close there, they will go up more than the annual increase elsewhere.

I paid $2500 for 5000 EOY points and the price has probably dropped since I bought. So I don't think that's a very good deal at all.
