This is one of my favorite OBX resorts. Fantastic view of the ocean from the top floor, a nice private pool, solid wifi in the unit, large balcony, half open/half screened. The surf can be a little rough (as in all the OBX) but the beach access is near the lifeguard stand. The resort has a luggage elevator. You do need to get up and down 4 flights of stairs so the only people who I would not recommend this one to is those who can't tolerate stairs and those that need onsite activities.

This is also a resort with a high owner occupancy and use especially at this time of year. Probably 5 to 6 out of the 9 units will be owners that have been coming to the resort for the last 20+ years on their week and have children and then grandchildren sharing the week with them. Even so the two times I have stayed, the owners have been super friendly and welcoming.
