FREE Diamond Resorts U.S. Collection - 2500 Points

Our vacation needs have changed and we would love to transfer our points in the Diamond Resorts U.S. Collection to someone who can take full advantage.

Resort: Diamond Resorts U.S. Collection
Points: 2500 Annual
Costs: Seller to pay all transfer costs.
Maintenance Fees in 2014: $776.60

All 2014 points have been used and payments are up-to-date.

Upon transfer, you would be responsible for paying 2015 maintenance fees and can begin using points in 2015.

Do MF's include Club membership? If so MF would be more like $476 because Club membership costs ~$300 and is not transferable. Buyer would only be able to use the points for resorts in the U.S. Collection.

Maintenance Fees in 2015: $804.95 ($215 - Base Assessment; $364.95 - Point Assessment; $225 Club Dues)

All 2015 points are available and 2015 payments are up-to-date. Points would only be good at the US Collection. If you are an existing Diamond Club member, the fees would be less.

From the following post, I don't know what you kind of room you can get with 2500 pts?

Points requirements now vary between 1,500 for an economy low season studio unit to 12,000 for a peak season premium resort. If you're wanting to exchange through I.I. and not internally with DRI, you can use their chart to determine what works for you. Generally speaking most people will probably require high season and want premium resorts. That figure today is 7,500 points for a 2 bedroom unit, 5,500 points for a 1 bedroom unit and 4,000 points for a studio unit.

Bill - My wife and I have been able travel annually with the 2500 points (or close to it, depending on how we roll the points each year). As its only two of us, we don't need a large room. The post you copied is accurate in the sense that premium week for a resort will require more points, as well a larger room will require more points.

Do you have a specific question I can help with?

Hi conrya03, and thank you for posting your timeshare for free on TUG!

Do you mind sharing some of the places you've used your points? That's always very interesting to prospective owners.

I just gave away two timeshare myself - it is doable!

Good luck! :hi:

Hi Jessej84 - Not looking for anything frankly. Happy to give them away. I'm willing to pay the $250 Diamond transfer fee.
