I just deposited today a week 51 (2010) and a week 52(2010) both are 2 bedroom for Orlando . Both weeks are seeing 143,452 units. Is this good trade value? I can see Manhattan clubs (33 units) and Disney other than Orlando area.

Yes, that's good.

I wouldn't want to comment any further. "Trade test" type questions usually end up on the Sightings Board. If this post is moved, it might lead to more involved comparisons for you.

2010 or 2011?

if you just deposited 2010 weeks, that is great, since you are at the 60 day mark. IF you meant 2011, that is very good trading power. My 4th of July beach week sees just a few more.

actually, I would say unbelievable!

so much for the "deposit early" mantra! I once deposited 8 months out and had fine trading power---but 60 days--that is incredible. Happy trading! Elaine

My 2011 Carriage hills Week 52 is seeing only 126,474 units. So much for Orlando being over built.

orlando sees as much as my 4th of july beach week

My 4th of july beach week appeared to pull more things at the top than my parents week 51 Orlando week. Now, theirs pulls the same, or slightly more than my 4th of july GC 3 BR HHI week (146K units). I am surprised about the trading values placed on an Orlando week. On the other hand, weeks 51 and 52 are usually at full capacity every year at WDW, so I can see it being demand driven for those few weeks, even in an overbuilt place.

And remember, does RCI still apply a 'quality' filter which might mean higher-quality resorts may not see as many as other resorts due to the filter?

This is especially a consideration if more of the higher-level locations are abandoning exchanging in favor of renting or direct exchanges, hence fewer overall matches for top-notch deposits in RCI.

The total # of units you pull is an interesting benchmark and I would be happy to see MC and DVC as the OP does.

Those would seem to be the prime weeks of the year for Orlando, so I would expect them to pull well. Prime weeks in other places sometimes do well even as late deposits, but that aspect seems to be hit and miss. As to filters, the best weeks to have seem to be silver crown, as they do not seem to be booted much in either direction. A standard or a gold crown might get some availibility cut off by either the upward or downward filters.
