You do NOT have to be with Wyndham Club Pass to use these 8 NEW Associate Resorts. These Shell Vacation Club Resorts have a special short term arrangement with Wyndham. I checked today and they are available to book on the Wyndham website. The points charts and resort information is posted as well.

The Legacy Golf Resort – Phoenix, Arizona
Orange Tree Golf Resort – Scottsdale, Arizona
Starr Pass Golf Suites – Tucson, Arizona
Peacock Suites – Anaheim, California
Vino Bello Resort – Napa, California
Crotched Mountain Resort – Francestown, New Hampshire
Carriage Ridge Resort – Shanty Bay, Ontario
Carriage Hills Resort – Shanty Bay, Ontario

Shell Owners, they are stealing your inventory . . . . .

Why should you share with Millions of Wyndham owners who paid nothing for the use of the Shell System

I think there is a longer term underlying project here. Since Wyndham has removed the benefits that came with owning Shell, it feels like they are trying to just align it with Wyndham. I don't know if they will ever pull it off, but it seems like they'd rather fold it into their program rather than run it as the program that it was.

This looks like a rerun of the previous agreement with WorldMark where some of whatever inventory is left in a very limited number of units at a very limited number of resorts is loaded into Wyndham inventory at 8-9 months.

Vino Bello has only meager availability Jan. - April; Anaheim has a handful of stays available Jan. - March, just as a couple of examples.

This is literally nothing.

The question in my mind is, "Why is Wyndham bothering with this at all instead of adding Shell Vacation resorts to the Club Pass?"

The Shell approach to timesharing has always been a bit different from others. Many of their properties act as both a timeshare and transient rental/hotel.

For instance, the Inn at the Opera and the Donatello in San Francisco both operate as hotels as well as timeshares.

I assume Shell takes points that are used in other fashions (there are a lot of non resort ways to spend your points) and takes space to rent out to fund those non resort uses.

The listed resorts are larger resorts that would be likely to have extra space.

I think this is just another venue to "rent" the space.

P.S. I own both Shell and Worldmark.
