Vistana Beach Club

I have a question about the Vistana Beach Club in Jensen Beach. Thinking about buying a prime floating week here. Does your deeded week number or unit number have any meaning? If your deeded unit number is in the back building does this me you can only reserve in that building and not the ocean front building? Is there any advantage to having say a deeded week 10? Do you get any priority in reseving your deeded week/unit?

We own 2 prime weeks here, and love it. Both were pretty much free. Your designated week/unit doesn't mean anything. Fri/Sun check-ins are put in the ocean-front building, Sat check-ins are put in the further back building (phase 2). The ocean-front building only has a washer/dryer down at the end of the hall instead of inside the unit like phase 2, but for us, it is well worth it to be ocean-front instead. We usually go over Thanksgiving and/or 2 weeks in the summer.

Now, having said that we love it, and have been going there for several years. If you ad a couple hundred to the amount of the annual MF, you can get an ocean-front VRBO condo for a month (but many places have a min of 3 month rentals - depends on HOA).

In conclusion, for next to nothing purchase price, even if we have to pay someone a couple hundred to take it in a few years, it was worth it to us.
