I have both week 31 and 92,500 points?

I own vacation village in Florida week 31 and 92,500 rci points every two years. Little confused since in thinking of exchanging to another location this year. Do I deposit the week to rci and they put a value of points? Would that affect my 92,500 points that I get every two years? Or I just use the points straight to get something outside my home resort? Would I keep my week as well. What confuses me is that I have both week and points and I'm thinking both are separate. Help?

Unlikely. If I understand correctly, you have one week. And that it has a point value of 92K. It's an either-or deal. If you book the week at your resort, that's what you get. One week. And you have to reserve it with the resort. OR, you do nothing, and 92k RCI points get credited to your Points account, every other year, and you don't get your week at the resort. Clearer, now?

Yes thankyou!. Do you know how long till points expire with RCI? I heard some say two year others two years. Does everyone have a different deal or is it a set time period for all RCI members?

Points carry over for 1 year past their 'use year', and you can pay to extend them another year. You can also borrow points from an upcoming year as long as the MF and RCI Points membership is paid. Along with your RCI Points membership, you get a 'free' actually 'included' RCI Weeks membership. So if you find another TS that is not converted for a buck on eBay or something, you don't have to pay for another membership. (bonus info) If that new TS is not allied with RCI Points ownerships, you can do what's called 'Points for Deposit' (PFD) and book a week there then deposit it into your points account at the value of booking a points stay there, increasing your 'bucket' of points.

Do you have to keep track of your points, or does RCI have like a apge in your account that shows you your balance and all that info?

They give a page on rci, however you need to make sure that you're getting points and not a 2bdrm deposited in the weeks side. You have to have a rci account set up on the points side by Vacation Village
