I'm new to Interval and was recently sent a accommodations certificate I think $249 for a week. The expiration is Feb 2016 so do I have until than to book or do I need to complete travel by than? Also, is a timeshare presentation required because I don't want to do one!

With an AC (Accommodations Certificate) Travel must be completed within the stated time frame.

No presentation required - this offer if from II, not the resort.

Note that there are limitations on these certificates. If you click on it and attempt to do a search, a chart will come up, showing you what is available.

More accurately: what might be or become available.

Can I change the name on a Accommodation Certificate? I'd like to let my parents go and maybe meet then later in the week. Can I change the name for check in or do I have to check in?

You wouldn't change the name on the AC - you'd use the AC for an exchange, pay the exchange fee, and then get a guest certificate - you would have to pay for the GC, as usual.
