In Temecula you have Pechanga. Very good place.
About 15 miles South on I-15 you have Pala Casino. Even better.

You can't go wrong with either.

Besides being in the Temecula wine country, you are in the heart of the Indian gaming area too :D

As mentioned Pechanga is in Temecula, but I agree, we like Pala is better it's just a bit south on the 15 to the 76, going east. If you follow the 76 east you will also find Pauma, a smaller casino still in a tent, and then down the road abit there is the Harrah's Rincon (a good choice if you have a Harrah's slot card) and then up from there even a bit more you have Valley View, another smaller casino.

Lots of choices, not quite like Vegas, but at least if you get tired of one, you can head down the road a bit to another one. :)

Have fun & Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestions.

I think it was Pala that was recommended to me the last time we were heading there, we never made it because our daughter's soccer tournament was changed to Lancaster (that was not fair). This weekend we are going to a tennis tournament, but rain is expected this weekend, so who knows if I will ever get there...but I am trying!!

Should have added this in my original post....Don't know if this is meaningful to you or not....

Both Pala & Pechanga have small, but comfortable, enclosed NON Smoking area's in the casino, where you can play smoke free.

Harrah's has a non smoking area, but it's not enclosed like Pala or Pechanga.
