Not sure if this is a smoking deal or not. Your post is not clear if 2015 is first use or 2016 is first use.
(1) If 2015 first use, this is a great deal. MFs for a 1BR Plat are just under $600 for the unit in 2015. Add the $139 club fee and you are just over $700 for the unit. If first use is in 2016, then you are receiving no benefit from the paid 2015 mfs -- you are likely paying around/slightly above market for what the unit is worth. Also, don't forget you will need someone to do the deed transfer which will tack on another $150 or so in fees (unless you want to do the recording yourself).
(3) As others have pointed out, the $99 bank fee makes the ratio even worse. I'd suggest if you go the 1BR route, that you purchase with the intent to acquire another 1BR annuals so that you get a better ratio on the SO ownership, and you have enough SOs to snag at least a week in a 1BR in Plat+ season and most places (excluding St. John). Of course, this all depends on your travel strategy, but for Hawaii + having the flexibility to go to other places, this is the way I would go.
Good luck.
