I was looking in Orlando and found Royal Palms and Sable Palms with availability. I though Marriott was only in Interval. Can anyone tell me what is happening here?

Thank You

This is from the Marriott Frequently Asked Questions:

"Most Marriotts exchange only through II. These Marriotts exchange through both II and RCI:
StreamSide: Birch, Douglas (not Evergreen) [Aspen & Cedar are no longer managed by Marriott.]
Cypress Harbour
Desert Springs Villas I (not Desert Springs Villas II)
Harbour Club
Heritage Club
Monarch
Royal Palms
Sabal Palms
Sunset Pointe"

There are multiple resorts that have dual affiliation, so owners of these particular resorts can deposit with II, or RCI based on which they are already enrolled with. Most resorts are affiliated with II, so there are few Marriott weeks in RCI. Additionally, there are independent exchange companies some owners choose to use.

Add Harbor Point to the list, as well.

Are you sure about this? I used to own a week at Harbour Point, and it was not dual affiliated at that time. Sunset Pointe was (and is), but Harbour Point was not.

It is fairly simple. In the early days Marriott was affiliated with RCI. Later they switched to II but kept the RCI affiliation for most, if not all, of their earlier resorts. Thus many of the older Resorts have a dual affiliation.

You are correct-- we bought Harbour Pointe in 1982 it was only II. We subsequently sold it.

I've exchanged into Royal Palms through RCI.

I have a saved search of Marriott resorts on RCI that I check periodically, as well. I'm not sure if it's complete: 0336,0967,1276,1320,1699,1779,2041,2099,2616,2619
