We haven't yet closed on our VV purchase, we asked our agent to reserve Harborside for Week 25 (June 23-30/07) ... we're told none was available. Anyone had luck for week 25?
We got our second option VV-Key West. Agent said we could try and change reservation once we become the official owners.

Did your agent call at 8 am Eastern on October 23 to try and make the reservation? There may have been villas available within the first minute or so, but then they are gone. You or your agent would need to call at that time during the high demand seasons at the most popular resorts in order to have a chance at a reservation. Off season, it is much easier. What size unit were you trying to get? Studios are usually more plentiful.

Yes, for a $29 change fee, you can call and try and change your reservation. Owners cancel all the time, so you may have a chance. Good luck!

I asked our agent to call Starwood at 8am on Oct 23, but who knows .... we have 81k sos but wouldn't mind getting a studio.

no luck at 8AM

We called at exactly 8AM, waited about 3 mins for an svn rep, and then were told there was no availability for any type of room at Harborside for that week. I also tried St John - nothing that week either...

We called 9 am October 15 (it was a Sunday) for June 15th at Harborside. We got two one bedrooms for our trip. Our BIL called same time and got one bedroom also. Keep trying and call 8am sharp!
