I own at a resort which has DAY USE to the owners. It does not matter if the owner has weeks or their version of points, as long as I am on the HOA's list of owners.
Me too. I have day use at all three of my ownerships and all three were purchased resale.
Day use is usually detailed in the owner's handbook. It often has restrictions based on how busy the resort is and there may be some parking restrictions, etc.
It really just depends on the resort. Some don't offer it all. Some offer it only to developer purchases. Some have it for all owners.

You should have included a question: Why would I buy a timeshare in resale that is used by others already (just like buying a used car)? (agree/disagree)

The format of that question would not work in the poll, which has yes or no responses.

Actually this ended up in the wrong thread- should be in the 'Poll' thread

You should have included a question: Why would I buy a timeshare in resale that is used by others already (just like buying a used car)? (agree/disagree)

Even if you buy a 'new' timeshare from the developer, it's used by others. Except for day-one when the place opens, someone slept in the bed, ate on the dishes, bathed in the bathroom.

There is NO SUCH THING as a NEW timeshare.

Dumb question.
