Hi all,

I'm a (farily) happy Marriott Developer week owner, but was speaking to a friend today who purchased a 'royal elite' timeshare while on vacation in Florida.

I (of course) directed her to TUG to do research but also thought I'd have a look here - but I can see very little information on them .... can anyone provide any feedback or let me knpw their experiences?

Thanks in advance

Catharsis

A suggestion...

Assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that this "royal elite" is a reference to some flavor or "level" of Royal Holiday Club, a TUG search entering Royal Holiday Club as your search item will present numerous current and previous posts on the topic (including a current discussion just a few threads below this one...).

Royal Elite scam

We bought a Roayal Elite Vacation Club membership and upon booking our first week with Sandos in Cancun I find the will charge us $155USD per person/per day along with using a week of the membership points. That means that a week of All Inclusive will cost us $381 per night, what kind of deal is that? They told us several times that everything was included, you just use one week and that's it. I haven't really seen any value to any timeshare.

"Any" timeshare? That's a pretty big net you've cast...
