We used Island air for inter-island flight from Maui to Kaui and back. Both flights were good.

WKORV-N is on Maui, and the Westin Princeville is on Kauai. Do you mean you want to spend one week at WKORVN and a 2nd week on Kauai at the Sheraton Hotel?

The airlines are always competing with each other on price - my first choice would be Hawaiian Air, but some people use Go! or one of the other small airlines.

Don't forget that Island Air has baggage weight restrictions---check that out before you make any reservations.

I've stayed at the Sheraton and I like it. It is not the same as staying in a real timeshare - you don't have a kitchen or laundry facilities - but the location is good and it is closer to places like Waimea Canyon, the airport and dinner cruises that Princeville. It is also actually on the beach whereas WPORV requires a walk or a shuttle ride to get to the water.

I like the Sheraton Kauai, too. We prefer the Poipu side over Princeville because it is more likely to be sunny at Poipu. I wish that they would build out the Sheraton timeshare there. The only bad thing about where they planned the timeshare was that it was across the street from the beach. The Sheraton Kauai has the primo location!

I would highly recommend the Hyatt over the Sheraton if you are staying in Poipu. The food, pool areas, and overall grounds are nicer at the Hyatt IMO.

We had several reservations for flying from Maui to Kauai for December and Go Airlines changed the reservation twice. The change amounted to several hours delay so I cancelled them and rebooked on Hawaiian Air. Hawaiian Air was the same cost but offered more flight options daily.

I agree that the Hyatt property is much nicer than the Sheraton. Their pools are much bigger and nicer to look at. I also like the area around the Hyatt better for hiking and the like.

I'd stay there if I didn't have Starpoints to to make my Starwood stay free. :D
