Booking affiliated site during last minute, 30-day inventory period.

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to book Hilton's affiliated site (specifically Club Intrawest) during last minute, 30-day inventory period?
I mean, do they show up on the net when you search them, or do you just see HGVC availability only?

Someone else will give you a better answer I'm sure. But in my experience, affiliates do show up in open season inventory, most often Bay Club, Valdoro, and the Marco Island resorts. You can't book them online, you have to call. Having said that, I've never seen a Club Intrawest property show up in open season.

I guess I should take this as no to my question.
So even when I call, Club Intrawest will not be in the last min. inventory, right?
This is too bad, cause this may have been deal clincher in choosing Hilton over other sites as I live in Ontario.

No, that is not correct. The Club Intrawest resorts do not show up online, but they are available if you call customer service. This applies to both the 9-month booking window (Club Season) and the last-minute 30-day window (Open Season).

Just one more question if you don't mind. There seems to be more Club Intrawest resorts that did not show up on HGVC site. Is this mean that those resorts are not available? For example, I know that there is Club Intrawest in Ontario, Canada, but is not showing up as an affiliates.

There are only certain resorts that CI selected that participate with HGVC. The Ontario club is not one of them. I am originally from Ontario and my family still lives there. I was hoping that it would be available via HGVC but it is not.

Not sure why they limited to only certain resorts. Perhaps those resorts are larger and can offer more availability.
