Have been staying at the Valdoro Mountain Lodge for the last week. Great location and the accommodations are perfect. Yesterday traveled into Denver and did some sightseeing. Today attended the Breckenridge 2010 Octoberfest. Even though this location is primarily a winter resort, the other seasons are nice also.

I stayed at Hyatt Grand Aspen last year September, and it was very nice too!
I was driving to Valdoro/vail/avon area one day and there were still full of people. September is a great time to visit, weather is still warm and scenery was beautiful with golden Aspen trees.
