I have no idea if you will have enough time but is it all on the same ticket? If so I am sure the airlines know how long it should take to do that. If not you may have enough time but not enough time to get your ticket and check the bags according to the airlines cut off time. Web check in should help with that.

There is in effect no terminal D so walking from E to C should take no more than 10 minutes. If you opt for airport shuttle it will undoubtedly take longer as Terminal E is end of loop and Tetminal C is in the middle. I believe shuttle goes from E to T stop, then back to terminals.

Yes... If your plane from St Maarten isn't significantly delayed.
Have a back-up plan for an overnight stay, in case things go South.
I prefer to allow at least 3 hours between independent flights.
