Today, I was at the FLORIDA MALL in South Orlando. Previously, I was there about a year ago, and all I saw then was a Vacation Village OPC (Off-Property Contact). Anyway, today, I saw 2 kiosks of Wyndham, in addition to VVP. They (Wyndham) were not interested in talking to me when I mentioned I was an owner. The person just nodded, and walked away. Yet, about 20 minutes later, they were "selling" some tourists on going to a resort and getting the tickets.

I guess the OPCs only want "fresh meat". They were not offering cash, they were offering packages which includes tickets to a theme park for less than $100/night. I guess Wyndham got the point: it's cheaper to offer a suite and tickets than to give a person cash (resorts probably let that suite go for free and use the package money for the tickets - NOT fact, just guessing).

If they think you are staying on the property, then I do not think they are allowed to send you.

This might just be a numbers game where the odds of selling something to an already aware owner are lower than to some gullible unaware passerby.
