Hi,

I'm starting to look for accomodations for our family's trip to Orlando in March. We have a 4 year-old son and I want to make sure we go someplace where there is some stuff for him to do. I'm thinking Parc Soleil looks pretty nice. We stayed at HGVC on I-Drive a couple of years ago and really liked the room, but didn't really like the pool from a kid's perspective.

He loves to go to the pool and go down the slide. How is the slide at Parc Soleil? Any idea if you need to be a certain height to go down? Is it ok to go down it with a life jacket?

How are the playgrounds? Any other activities suitable for a 4 year-old boy?

Thanks!

I just came back from Parc Soliel with my 4 year old, and she loved the slide! It is 3 stories high, and is a lot of fun! At first I was a little apprehensive just because the slide is so big, but then I saw some kids as little as 3 do it.. my daughter was fine. There is someone on top (slide entrance) all the time making sure they get in okay.

The pool was very nice - huge and hardly crowded (as the property is not built out yet). It was a little cool, but that could be because there were so few people there. The hot tubs were great too.

There was a nice playground, but honestly we never used it. There were some activities, but again, we did not use it.

The property itself is pretty awesome, and the views are nice (we asked for a room facing the fireworks, and saw 2-3 fireworks every night! - they were pretty far off, though). The only minus on this property is that there is no deli/store in the property - so you need to get in your car and drive if you forgot to get the milk. There is a bar/cafe though.

Hope this helps,
Bonnie
