Ongoing search didn't match

I had an ongoing search and it did not match, so I changed the dates to another period. Does the search continue from the old date (Jan 2016) or does it reset, putting it behind other searches? This is in RCI.

If you just updated the search with new locations or dates (rather than cancelling it and starting a new one), it will retain the start date.
