Hi All,

My 19 year old nephew has decided that he is getting married. He is in the Navy and currently assigned to the Naval base in Pensacola. He was content to go to the justice of the peace to get married but the brides family has decided they want a wedding and are going to pay for it. Now we have to go to Pensacola for this wedding. Oh did I mention that it is in less than 30 days:cool: If anyone can suggest a resort or nice hotel in close proximity that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

There is only one timeshare on Pensacola that I know of and that is Holiday Beach Resort -Soundside and there is no availability until October. Looks like you will have to look for hotels or maybe private rentals.

We usually stay at Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn. Conveniently located off the interstate, clean, and offers complimentary breakfast.

Have your nephew check the hostess house on base, it might be called something else. It's basically a hotel on base for authorized visitors. You can Google it yourself, use the base name and look for visitor quarters. If you can't find it just call the operator, they can direct you to the right place.

The Marriott Legends Resort is nearby. Not on beach but in quiet gated area with nice views. 2BR/2B w.balcony, I think.

That's about 2 hours from the base.

There's a relatively new Margaritaville hotel on P'cola beach

We are down to three!!
Holiday Beach Soundside

We have stayed here couple of times and now send us post cards for off season rentals. Call the resort directly and see if they have some rentals.

I think one time we went there, we talked with a renter and they said they were in the military and they gave them a great disount..

Here's the number on the post card they sent out:
1-800-874-0402

Hope this help!! :cheer::banana:
Congratulations!!
