Hi everyone, we are heading to Orlando on March 29 and we are looking for the best prices. Here in California Costco has Disneyland and Universal Hollywood tickets for a discount, does Costco Orlando have the same? What about for other places like Aquatica (or other water parks). Or maybe Blue Man Group tickets? I've seen Under Cover Tourist and Mouse Savers, but those are only minimal discounts. I'm looking to see if there are other options. It is our first time to Orlando and we would love your input. Thanks!

Joan

Join ebates.com and buy through Orbitz and get money back

Hi All.

I haven't posted or been on this site for almost a year, but now that my vacation is planned I am browsing again.

The best deal for park tickets is through Orbitz, but by joining ebates.com and linking to Orbitz through their site, you get back 4% of your total purchase. You can get a check in the mail or set up a paypal account.

Orbitz has a deal right now on Disney tickets. Buy a 3 day ticket and get 2 days free. There are other park ticket offers, but Disney is the best. They also have SeaWorld - 2 parks for $99.00.

The best part of ebates is the money back for shopping. Sometimes they have a double day and sometimes the stores just offer more money back.

Give it a try. You won't be sorry. There are so many stores through the ebate site.

Here is a Mousesavers link to various discounts for WDW park tickets: http://www.mousesavers.com/sources-for-discounts-on-walt-disney-world-tickets/

And one for other Orlando area attractions: http://www.mousesavers.com/discounts-and-deals-at-other-theme-parks-and-attractions/

I was comparing some prices last week and found that the deals from workingadvantage.com were superior depending on the number of days desired in WDW. They too offer other Orlando area attraction discounts. You have to sign up for a free membership through your employer. If they don't offer it to you, any organization can join for free and give their employees access to the discounts. You can browse ticket prices on the site without being a member, if you wanted to price compare.

Hope these help.

The best "deal" we get every year is purchasing a Super Grover platinum pass via sesame place. http://sesameplace.com/en/langhorne/season-passes/?from=Top_Nav Price is $228 and it will get you into all the SeaWorld Parks with the exception of Aquatica. (but it does give you great discounts to Aquatica).

The pass is good for their parks in Texas, Virginia and California also (so you may get more than one vacation out of them). Good for the entire year.

We have also always received platinum benefits at all the parks we have visited with these. Free preferred parking, reserved seating, food discounts etc.

If you purchase these in December for the following year - they are even cheaper than what you see here.

This might not be the best deal, but it was a good deal for us just over a year ago. We bought theme park tickets at an Orlando-area Wal Mart.

It's good for also buying groceries and other supplies for the week if you're staying in a TS with a kitchen. That meant convenience for us since we bought our weekly supplies even before we checked in. :)

We were just in Orlando and Sea World and Busch Gardens were offering a ticket for $50 that was good on the weekdays only.

Sorry, I have been busy and didn't get a chance to respond. Thanks for all your advice, I'll let you know what we end up doing, though preliminary research shows the best prices on Orbitz. Joan

I bought a season's ticket at SeaWorld FL and then because I had this season pass, I was able to buy Discovery Cove swimmers for the family (a $2000 value) for under $1000 and this purchase further allowed me Aquita $50 day tickets for $12 and also allowed me to go to SeaWorld and Busch Gardems limitless times for 14 days for FREE. I thought that was a good deal.

My season apsses more than paid for themselves and I got free parking as well at SeaWorld FL.
