Does anyone know how difficult the transfer process is for Costa Linda? I am helping a friend sell his week, and I am wondering if we need to pay closing costs or we can do paperwork ourselves and just pay for escrow of funds. I know with some timeshares, like Riu Palace, Royal Resorts and Worldmark, the paperwork is so easy, no closing company is really needed. Thank you for any insights.

Very easy process just go on the Costa Lionda Website owners section and have your friend download the transfer forms. You then need to fill out forms per instructions and get them notarized and pay the transfer fee. Your friend will need to mail everything to Costa Linda including their ownership certificate amd it takes about six weeks for transfer to be completed.

Also remember all maintenace fees and assessment fees must be paid up to date before they will complete transfer.:hi:
