I am wondering if it is my internet connection that is bad today or if the Wyndham website is acting up. Anyone else having trouble with the website this morning?

Problems here as well. Be careful using the back button.

Yes it is acting up. I guess you could say, Wyndham's cut of our maintenance fees is hard at work doing nothing. . .

Such problems with their web programming -- makes you wonder why they hired those people

Couldn't make a reservation online so I called Wyndham to make it. I got a better deal points wise by calling. The website wasn't showing any upgrades online. I ended up with a free upgrade from a one bedroom to a three bedroom at half points. It was worth calling. . .

website a misery today

What a misery the website was today! I sincerely hope they get it cleared up while the system is closed tonight and it will be back to normal in the morning.

I wonder if they got hacked. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to change our passwords and keep an eye on any credit cards or checking accounts they have on file.

When I called mid morning the person I spoke with claimed she hadn't heard anything about owners having problems using the website today. One other time months ago there was some issue and when I called they denied that there had been any problems. I found it hard to believe that I was the only one so asked again. I said "Really, no one else has called in complaining?" The person got a little snippy with me because she knew that I knew she wasn't telling me the truth.

I know now that at all call centers, not just Wyndham, supervisors randomly listen in on calls. The individuals we talk to can lose their jobs if they get caught telling us something Wyndham doesn't want us to know.

Yes, really frustrating - tried to enter a guest confirmation - inputted all of the data and then lost it when it went to 'this site not available'. So I got fed up and went to 'contact us' and wrote them a 'nice' note and when I hit send it said 'this site not available'

This is not going well.

Fortunately, they gave me the direct number to call (866-313-9062) before my call was dropped. I finally got through to someone in tech support, after
being on hold for 35 minutes! All they did was to acknowledge the problem and say they are working to resolve it.

No excuse for not having the VCs informed of the problems. The one I spoke to was clueless!

I agree - 5 clueless agents, 5 dropped calls, including dialing tech support direct.......

why not just tell the agents and move on....

At least they admitted there was an issue. New member here. found this group after googling Wyndham mega renters. Hopefully the site is back up and running smoothly soon.

Definitely having problems with the site. This morning happened to be my day to do some adjustments on reservations that had come into the vip discount window. After much frustration, re-clicking and back buttoning I was able to get through a cancel 1br/rebook 1br/book a 2 br/cancel 3br/upgrade 1br to 3br process and got my 3 bedroom for half the 1 bedroom points! Whew! I thought I lost it a few times.

Not positive but it seemed like it took 5+ minutes for cancelation to 'come back'.

Problems are still occurring. It seems there are some re-directs going on... as I watched the address bar in the lower left corner, it was checking websites such as google-analytics, facebook, and youtube. What is going on?

Time to limit the snooping Wyndham group to a dumb and stand alone machine?
