HGVC Rci ongoing search after one search matched

I put several ongoing searches a couple months ago around Christmas -- some for this 2014 summer, some for 2015 summer since I didn't think this summer would match. I did this all for one rci search/reservation fee.

Surprisingly, it turns out that the 2014 summer ongoing search matched. I still want to keep the ongoing search for 2015 summer. Is my 2015 search still good even though technically the booking fee has been applied to the 2014 summer? If still good, how is the booking fee handled if the 2015 summer matches?

The 2015 summer search is a tougher trade with specific weeks. If I don't match, then could I amend it to 2016 or does the search expire at a certain point?

It may very well be that hgvc rci portal works the same way as RCI does in general but I wanted to make sure since I don't have experience with either.

At the risk of sounding petulent...
Is there some reason why you cannot call HGVC to get it from the horses mouth, so to speak?

I guess I will. I just thought that someone here who has traded their HGVC points in RCI would know since I can't imagine I'm the only one who has had multiple ongoing requests and had one fulfilled with others outstanding. I'd rather trust actual experience versus a rep on the phone who may or may not know. I'd hate to find out a year or two down the line that the answer I was given was wrong after I relied on the answer. *shrug* I just trust tug answers more than hgvc rep answers; perhaps a bad presumption.

I don't see how you can have multiple searches from one fee, I think you had one search and picked two years (which is the limit on how far out you can search RCI through the portal). If that is the case, it matched 2014 and you need to put in another, and pay another fee, to search 2015.

This is from the 2014 Rules Brochure, page 8:

RCI Deposit. Members may deposit current- year ClubPoints or previously deposited ClubPoints into the RCI Exchange Program for future weekly and nightly RCI exchange reservations. RCI deposits are valid from the date of deposit through an additional two calendar years. Once ClubPoints are deposited into the RCI Exchange Program, the transaction is final and ClubPoints may not be returned to a Member’s Club account. An RCI Deposit Fee applies. An RCI Exchange fee will be charged at the time of confirmation or the initiation of an RCI search request.

Did not want to start a new post if a thread was out here so I hope this is related.

I have never done an ongoing search in RCI. I was playing with it for a future weekend. It got to the end and noticed the $209 transaction fee. I understand I need to pay for each search but....

Question. - Does the transaction fee cover registration and night charge? Are points charged? What does the fee cover?

I am not an HGVC owner but I set up OGS all the time. I only pay one fee and set up multiple searches; I currently have 6. The fee sits as a credit on the account and is applied to the first match. After that you have to pay an additional fee with each match but the searches continue, even if there is no credit on your account.

The Original post is a little old but if the original search matched and you kept it the rest of the searches stop. If you matched but did not confirm the match the OGS continues and you can add or delete individual searches within the search.

I had 3 OGS set up for DVC. After I entered the first it did not ask for any fees for the next. When I set it up the fee was $199. I got a match yesterday and had to pay the extra $10 difference to confirm.

Of the 3, 2 hit yesterday. I confirmed 1 and released the other. I thought this might cancel the other 2. It didn't. I got another match today. I just released that one too and cancelled the search as I can only afford one week in Disney:)

Agreed, I have in the past and currently paid only 1 OGS fee, and have set up several OGS after and never had to pay the additional OGS fee (unless I reserved more than 1 unit from those original OGS). I have gotten matches on several of those OGS at once. If I wanted to book both, I would then have to pay the additional fee for the 2nd reservation.
