I'm thinking of going to Dublin next year. It looks like 2 hotels are close to the city center and 3 more are not too far away. Is it easy to get around, is it worth it to spend the extra points to be close in? Probably doing 2 days of sightseeing in Dublin and 2 days of side trips.

If you check on the "check availability" tab on the Hilton Dublin Airport it should bring you to special 40% off sale rates. Just booked there for 43euro/night. Great deal and convinced me that the short bus ride into center city was worth it. They also have an airport shuttle.

Hi all,
I was in Dublin few months ago because of a corporate meeting in Hilton Hotel, Dublin and the whole trip was sponsored by my company. I and some of my colleagues were reached at Dublin airport on time, and we found a coach in front of us. We are fascinated with the services, quality, interior and comfort. We reached at Hilton hotel just on time and we are not able to judge the distance between Dublin airport to hotel because of that comfort. Now we are in Hilton hotel which was looks too good and the services management of hotel provided was awesome. The seats of meeting hall were so comfortable and they arranged catering facility in that hall which was adorable

Just got back from a trip to Ireland. Spent time at the airport Hilton and the Double Tree downtown. If your goal is to explore Dublin use the Double Tree. The staff was great at both. The blueberry muffins at the Double tree were the best. Everything was a 10 t0 15 min walk and we also did day trips. The airport shuttle has a stop about 10 min away no need for a car. Great trip hope you have as much fun as we did. Check out the show at the Arlington Pub. Lot's of fun and not overpriced.
