This is a fixed Christmas week at Roark Vacation Resort in Branson.

I have been depositing this TS with Hawaii Timeshare Exchange, as a low-cost exchanger into Hawaii, but we recently picked up 4 more weeks in Hawaii, so I need to reduce my portfolio a bit. (With Hawaii TS Exchange you can use this one bedroom to trade for a 2 bdm. for just a $175 upgrade fee.)

Located on the banks of Lake Taneycomo, with on-property boat docks and fishing from their dock.

The resort is 10-15 min. walk to Branson Landing for all kinds of shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Maintenance Fee - $554 (No maintenance fees due until Jan. 2016!)

This is our favorite resort to trade this Branson week for: Lawai Beach Resort.

It's an easy trade, because Hawaii Timeshare exchange is located at this resort, and they have lots of inventory.

Just snorkeled next to Lawai resort on Saturday! Great resort and nice location on the south shore of Kauai!

This should be sticky on HOW to properly market your timeshare. Great description of the resort, fantastic pictures, giving examples of the many exchanges available, and most of all, not giving up.

So many times we see an ad start with a negative statement such as "I must get rid of this thing!" or "I was duped into buying it" and then the "ad" includes vague information, no pictures and no follow-up. They then wonder why it doesn't sell, panic, and pay a relief company $3000 to dispose of it.

Although it took some time to give this away, it wasn't IF it would find a home it was only WHEN.

I recently gave away a unit in Tennessee. I had no takers here so I posted it on the Craig's List closest to the location and BINGO!! Gone but not forgotten!
