I have a 1br Prem confirmed Jan 13-20............please post the buildings you would recommend once you arrive. There is construction going on I think, as well as pool closing for renovations at HRA.........would like to have knowledge of what to ask for at Check in if possible, so I don't have to request room change after already being assigned.

Thanks in advance

bathrooms in a premium unit

for 1 bed premium at Atlantis, is there is separate powder room in addition to a full bath, making it 1.5 baths?

I would certainly not call it a 1.5 bathroom setup, but it does provide some privacy if you have 4 or 5 guests sharing the suite.

In Phase I, the bathroom in the larger 1BR side has a sink, toilet, and shower in a separate compartment off the dining room. It is connected to the main bath area (soaking tub, sink, and closet) off the master bedroom. I'll try to post a floorplan....

Sunday check-ins are Bldg 1 (Phase I) and Bldg 4 (Phase 2). Most units in Bldg 1 will have good views of the marina, gazillion dollar yachts, and Atlantis. Some of the units in Bldg 4 have very nice views over the water towards the cruise ship port, but most units look at the walkways between buildings.

Honestly, you spend so much time out of your unit exploring Atlantis and the island, that it hardly matters what the room view is. That being said, if I had a choice of the two buildings, I'd rather be in a high floor unit overlooking the marina in Bldg 1 (just not X727, which overlooks the driveway). We own fixed summer weeks in Bldg 7 and love watching the yachts pull in.

You won't freeze!

Next 10 days in Nassau. 79-81 highs; 68-71 lows. Low winds. Chance of some rain every day. (Not at HRA now. At chilly WDW.)

"Water temperatures range from the low 80s in the summer to about 74°F in midwinter." That's ocean water.

I've been at HRA in both December and January. Sometimes the HRA pool can be a little chilly. The Atlantis pools and slides are pretty comfortable, though. I think it depends upon how much sun there is to heat the water during the day and how much wind there is when you get out of the water. Enjoy! Salty
