Request for Trip Report

What do you think about having new board with "Trip Report" in TUG?
or maybe sub board within each area, like Florida, Hawaii....etc.

Resorts: Orange Lake in FL; Silverleaf's Holiday Hills in Branson, MO.; and Murray Valley, Queensland, Australia
board

And what is this new sub board supposed to have in it? How does it differ from the resort reviews? I think we get some trip reports whether we want them or not-some should be in hardcover soon. I don't know how many: "Gee whiz and then we saw the Eiffel Tower" reports I could take. If by report you mean- "Then Biff and Biff Jr. went fishing while the twins and i sat at the pool and did our nails." Then I am not interested. I have this vision of the trip report being like watching someone else's home movies with the extra added benefit of not knowing or caring who in the world the people are. Or like the long Christmas letters that get enclosed with their Christmas cards while people talk, babble, brag and complain about so many things. Conversely, if they were to discuss things to do and ideas and cautions about travel in an area then I see some merit to it. I think I would want it to be a grandfathering thing too. In time, these reports would take up alot of gigs of space. I would not want 50 trips to the Costa del Sol stored. Ideally people should not repeat what others have already said but we know that some people just can't resist telling us about it or simply won't examine what has come before. So maybe after 5 reports, the older ones would be deleted. I would want to see some guidelines and the idea flushed out a bit before rendering an opinion.

People are welcome to post trip reports in the current forums and often do.
