Question Hotwire hotel booking - Seattle

Hi Tuggers,
We are travelling to Seattle in late July. I checked out Hotwire for hotel rooms and they have a 3.5 star downtown - Pike Place available for $139. This sounds like a great deal to me, but I'm wondering when they say Pike Place how far out could that be? Has anyone else ever booked with Hotwire and are they accurate with the neighborhoods they claim the hotels are in?
Thanks

Hotwire doesn't reveal the hotel until after you purchase. How do you know it is Pike Place? Have you checked out www.betterbidding.com

Pike Place is the neighborhood not the name of the hotel. I want to make sure that if I book this hotel (name unknown), I am actually close to Pike Place - within walking distance.

There is a link to a map that shows the boundaries of each hotel zone. The hotel could be anywhere within that zone.

At the BetterBidding link provided above, sometimes it's possible to correlate the rating and amenities for what is being offered you with what the ratings and amenities reported for previous offers. You can then narrow down the list of hotels that Hotwire might be offering to you.
