Leaf Peeping in Maine
Are there areas in Maine to go "leaf peeping" during the last week in October?
Thanks for any suggestions. |

Too Late
The last week in October is too late to view foliage. Most of the leaves are down. Early to mid October is the time to go.

Take a look as this interactive foliage map by Yankee Magazine http://www.yankeefoliage.com/peakmap/ to get a better idea of the season.
There are also suggested scenic drives at the same site. SBtS |

That is a great map, thanks for the link.
I always think "Columbus Day" for peak, although it can be a week before or after, depending on weather/temperature conditions and where you're located. Sue |
