I am going home to Stroudsburg for the Christmas holiday and would like to grab a unit near Stroudsburg but I stayed at Shawnee once and the unit was terrible.

Can anyone give me a list of the 3 shawnee or other area resorts they have been to that are clean and not to depressing inside.

I have Shawnee River Village II and Northslope on hold at this time

The newest units at Shawnee are very nice. I forget what they call that section - someone can fill in the name for me.

I stayed there a few times and it was very nice. Flat screens, fireplace, new everything since they just opened last year.

The newest units that are still being built are called Shawnee Village and they're at the top of the hill in Ridge Top. I believe some units are open. The next newest units are the Ridge Top Summit units. We just stayed there two weeks ago and they are very nice. They have a similar layout to the older Ridge Top units but larger and nicer.

I believe the newest units are called "Crestview" and can only be reserved using Wyndham points directly. The next newest units "Ridge Top Summit" can be gotten through II. Willowbrook at Lake Harmony is also lovely and exchange through II. The choices through RCI are less impressive. The Ridge Top and Summit units are grouped into one exchange number in RCI so you're not guaranteed a Summit unit - you may get an older Ridge Top unit. This could still be OK - probably better than others at Shawnee. I hear that a 3 bedroom in the Bushkill resort - "Fairway Villas??" - is also generally quite nice.
