Hi all. DW has asthma and does not like using a chlorine pool. We went to Surfwatch a few weeks ago and all the pools are saltwater, which she loved :)

We want to go back to HHI next summer and were wondering about Grande Ocean and Barony Beach. Do these resorts have saltwater or chlorine pools? Would appreciate and feedback you can provide. :hi:

Barony does have one heated outdoor salt water pool nearest the indoor pool/spa. It was very nice. Cannot speak to GO as we have never been there.

GO has at least one (if not more) saltwater pool also. My son doesn't like them and he reported that back to us very quickly.

Just back from Grande Ocean.... Spent quite a lot of time in the biggest Dolphin pool and the South pool -- both are saltwater.

Took a dip in the North pool, and it did not seem different than the others, so I bet it's saltwater too (wasn't thinking about saltwater vs chlorine at the time.)

Did not go in the smaller lap pool..

All MGO pools are salt

all the pools at MGO are salt based which is better for the environment and your skin as well as your clothing.

Thanks for all the help  Looks like we will be OK with any of the beachfront resorts that we are looking at :)
