Don,

Don't have an answer for your question. This link - Airport Transportation Around New York - scroll down and see links for off-site parking at JFK and Newark's Liberty airport (and other New York area airports too)

We have used both and JFK is deff. more expensive!! We paid 120 more at JFK for the same length of time, 8 days.

There are some really resonable off-site at both JFK and Newark which provide free shuttle service. I think we payed around $50/week just outside of JFK last year but I don't recall the lot.

We just used http://www.smartparkjfk.com and it was great. They are new (opened in June 2009) and the price was right. Now thru Labor Day they are charging $12/night plus tax which comes to about $13.25 per day.

I have never been to Newark.

the thing with JFK parking is that if you use there long term lot you must park and then use the airtrain to you terminal. So you are dragging bags around. If you use offsite, they will shuttle you right to the terminal. We used air park fly in May and paid about 100 for the week.
