Need quick answer - any difference between LWR and LW2 (Lawrence Welk)?

Both are in Escondido, and seem to be together on II's site. Is there a difference? Is one better than the other?

The two bedroom Lawrence Welk Villas are all the same. The two II ID's could be something as simple as bulk bankings vs. fixed weeks, or it could be about their points system. This is the same with the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando, which is always listed under multiple ID's.

The Villas on the Green are completely different than the 2 bedroom Villas. I wouldn't want one of those smaller one beds at Villas on the Green.

Is it possible that LW2 are newer units? Like with MMC and MSE (Marriott Manor Club and MC Sequel...). It appears there is more availability at LW2, than at LWR.
If it is "exactly" the same, I will add LW2 to my request.
Thanks for any info.

We visited Lawrence Welk about six years ago the last time, and the unit we had is now refurbished completely. I understand all of the two bedroom villas were recently updated. The two bedroom units are a class all by themselves, truly nicer in every way than the lockouts at Villas on the Green.

I don't know why there are two ID's. The villas are all the same, as far as I have been able to tell, and over the years, we have stayed in several of the 2 bed villas.

Maybe you should call Lawrence Welk?

I was thinking the same thing. I will call. The only issue I have is that when we went to the Marriott Manor Club recently, we stayed in the Sequel, which is the same property but newer units. The units are a l ittle smaller, and not quite as "quaint".
I would prefer to stay in whichever is the nicer part of L.W., if there is a difference.
