Closing threads with political posts

I am onboard with the owner and moderators policy on political topics. I will point out, however, that some people are repeatedly making political posts after numerous warnings and editorial deletions - for the sole purpose of closing threads they don't like.

I recommend that (after warning) such individuals be booted from TUG instead of closing otherwise non-political threads.

its only when people take the bait that the trolls win and the thread is closed.
