I had our week booked at our home resort (BSP) in July. 11 days before we were to go, my wife broke her leg and we had to cancel. Owner Services was very nice about it as it was a medical reason. We were not able to re-schedule at the BSP so we booked at Vistiana Villages instead for September 25 to October 4. (We own a 2 bedroom but usually use the staroptions to stay longer.) As (BAD) luck would have it, my wife got sick
. We contacted Vistiana and spoke to Dolly. She was able to help us out and we delayed the check-in for a few days, actually today. DW is still not well enough to travel and I had to cancel the reservation.
I was told by owner services that I can still book for this year but no more than 60 days in advance. I understood that by reading FAQ. I was hoping to possibly re-book for the one of the first two weeks of November. If I can't, we will probably have to forfeit the Staroptions for this year.
Questions!!
1. Is there a cancellation fee that I will be charged and how do they charge it?
2. What kind of chance would I have in getting a 1 bedroom premium for 7-8 nights in early November?
3. Will this cancellation affect making reservations for next year?
Thanks for any answers.
