Hi everyone
Our spring break was put on hold due to childrens sports conflicts
but we were thinking of going to Cabo May 30
We were wanting to stay at a resort that isnt all inclusive
we like to experience the area .
We can get a reservation at Playa Grande Resort
We have to teens 15-16
any feed back would be greatly appreciated
Thanx Lynda :)

I would think that the first week of June in Cabo would be nice. We went to Mazatlan at the same time last year and the weather was great. Mazatlan is just across the Gulf of California from Cabo, so I would think the weather would be similar.

We leave on October 30th for the Grand Mayan in Cabo San Jose. We will be there for 2 weeks. This will be our first visit to the area and we are looking forward to it.

You have some lucky kids - they go on really nice vacations every year! :)

Playa Grande is a beautiful resort. Great pool areas and restaurant. However, as with other Resorts facing the Pacific Ocean, the waves are far too rough for swimming. There are signs all over the beach warning swimmers.

If you plan to swim in the resort's pools and not in the beach, you'll enjoy the PG. Otherwise, you'd be better off somewhere on Medano Beach or even in San Jose del Cabo. Hope this helps.

I think you and your kids will enjoy Playa Grande as long as you heed the warnings about the dangerous surf over there. You'll still be close to town and Medano Beach. A resort right on Medano Beach would be great, but PG is a close second. I think your kids will enjoy being in Cabo San Lucas more than San Jose del Cabo as it's a little more lively.:)

You will love Playa Grande. Even if you cannot swim in the ocean it is not that far to walk around the marina to Mendano beach or take a water taxi. You can also get a taxi from Playa Grande to the beach for about $10 for all of you and then get one going back or walk. We do it whenever we go to PG.
We will be there for our fixed week Nov.1 and can hardly wait. Not many resorts in Cabo are AI anyway. We will stay at Cabo Villas Beach Resort our second week right on the beach. the older part of it is RCI and the new buildings are Interval International. so that might be a good choice if you want to be where the activities are on the beach. Of course the PG has several pools to use including an adult pool. We love it.
