I believe the answer to this question is you need a GC but I'm not sure if this would be allowed. Someone had this question and I don't know a definate answer so I thought I would post here as I would like to know as sometimes we have this issue but not to this extent. Here is the situation:

I just read (in a couple of authoritative places) that if you have more than one Wyndham points reservation in the same time period, you either have to pay a substantial extra fee for a Guest Confirmation or risk having one of the reservations canceled...with the points forfeited.

As I read that, here's the effect it could have on my family (We would have three co-owners: myself and my two adult daughters.)

If two or more of us (all of who have school-aged kids) booked reservations that overlapped, we'd have a problem even though an owner was occupying each of the rooms. The only fix would be to purchase a Guest Confirmation for $99 or whatever it is.

Or, if all three of our families decided to go on a vacation together, we'd have to pay about $200 for Guest Confirmations even though each unit was occupied by one owner and their immediate family (spouse & kids).

Culli,

I believe when you have multiple owners on the account you can put different owner names on each reservation which will take care of this problem. I have never had to do this but I think a call to wyndham reservation line will probably quickly answer that for you. Also those reservations aren't canceled until 15 days out so if you have some current reservations you should have some time to figure it out.

When one books their reservation online, when you get down to the part to who the reservation is for, it will allow to chose owner, guest, co-owner. If you choose co-owner, it should show other owners who can book the reservation.

I would call Wyn to make sure that a co-owner booking will keep the reservation safe from being cancelled.
