Question on Rentals offered

I am interested in a certain rental in the RENTALS OFFERED forum. It is a Marriott unit.

How do I make sure I dont' get burned?

Do I have the person make the reservations in my name?

Do I mail this person a check? He is a guest on TUG and not a registered member.

I'm a guest of long standing here and have rented and been rented to with nary a problem. Don't let lack of TUG membership scare you away or make you suspicious.

Your best course of action is to have a phone call with the owner.
 
If it is listed in the Last Minute Remtals the owner has a reservation for that week, - If they offer you a II Guest Certificate it might be an exchanege
