Any one been scammed by International resort marketing in phoenix,az.Well I have. I thought it looked legitimate.I even checked with my friend in mexico and my timeshare was worth what they said. I lost 10000. Iam contacting the attorney general in AZ. Any other ideas on how to get my money back?

Ouch, this sounds like a typical upfront fee cmpany that got you good. Report to your AG, also file complaints with the BBB, and have hope because recently in Florida a scam company was required to pay back the money they took from "clients." it is very possible this company is operating without a license, i would look into that too and forward to the AG.

When, and how, did you pay the money?

If it was fairly recent and you used a credit card you can dispute the charge. We did that several years back with an "upfront fee" company and ended up not having to pay. It was about that time I found TUG.

scammed

No it was by wire transfer.I do have the names of where the money went to though

SO sorry to hear you were conned out of so much! That name as a questionable operation has floated around for quite awhile as well as other, similar ones.

Go after everyone you can & best wishes for success. A wire transfer is nearly impossible to get back except when you can prove fraud (which it sounds like you have - go get them!)

Contact me

Robert,
The same thing happened to me and I am well on my way to catching them. I would be more than happy to make sure you get your money back and you too, can spit in thier faces as they are taken to prision where they belong. However, I know they follow the posts on this website and realize that you could be Robert Jenkins, or someone working for them, as they are realizing the noose is tightening and they need to know what I am up to to chart their next course. So, why don't you e-mail with proof of who you are and a copy of your complaint to the AZ Attorney general - something along those lines. Then we can talk about next steps. Its like I always say to them, tick, tick, tick,

IRM is going down

I would love to privately know what you have planned for them. I was scammed real bad. Anything I can help with let me know.

tell us what happened.. most likely it a familiar story around here..

you have a timeshare for sale.. these guys call you up and say "we have a buyer for your timeshare willing to pay $18,000" all you need to do is send us
$1800 for the title transfer, taxes etc..

you are out $1800 or some amount of money no doubt. and still have that FRICKEN TIMESHARE.....

SO how did i do.. close or not..

You did great -underestimated the money by a mile.
I owner why the resort don't warn their owners when they hear about the first few scams. They need to do more. Do you know international resort marketing. I'm going to hang their scum bag skin out to dry . [edit]
