angela is the new GM here at the wkorv and greg went to the westin hotel and resort down the street. everyone is very pleased with angela and are excited for her leadership.

Does anyone have an Email for Angela so we can welcome her as the new GM? Sorry to see Gregg go. I talked to him several times and he always was responsive to questions.

Since then, she has held leadership positions at the Kapalua Bay Hotel and Sheraton Maui Resort. Nolan played an integral senior leadership role in the opening of Trump International Hotel and Tower Las Vegas in 2008 and the Planet Hollywood Towers by Westgate, Las Vegas in 2009.

I would also be interested in who is meant by 'everyone' as that is a broad statement (is this corp-speak?) - as she has yet to be integrated as the WKORV manager so what is the basis for this?

Not sure if Trump Towers or PH Towers by Westgate is a ringing endorsement.

As Gregg's resume and WKORV experience (1st hand) looks - this is a loss for WKORV, but I wish her well.

According to the announcement, she has been the Hotel manager at WKOR since April 2010, so she is not completely unknown to the local staff and management. I am guessing that is what the remark about "Everyone is happy" refers to. Promoting from "within", sort of, rather than bringing in a complete stranger.

Yes, Gregg moving on is a loss to the resort and us owners. But let's give Angela a chance to show what she can do.

i was referring to employees, and managers. i was told gregg asked to go to the hotel but i don't know if that is true.
i think new leadership deserves a glass half full approach and i wish her well.
